I have been writing and teaching application-embedded Python since 2000. I support an application that uses Python as its primary embedded programming language, along with 3 other domain specific languages. I count introducing newcomers to Python as one of the highlights of my job. Building developer tools in Python is the other.
When not programming, I game and play the bassoon. The games I play want add-ons in Lua, not Python, so I'm becoming proficient in Lua too. I even wrote a book about that.
