Nick has worked in machine learning, data analysis and software development for about 30 years, currently running a small data science consulting and software company, Stochastic Solutions, in Edinburgh. He is also an organizer of PyData Edinburgh.
His acadaemic background was theoretical physics and mathematics, and he is a Visiting Professor in the Operations Research Group at Edinburgh University.
