I'm an engineer who started with analog electronics and slowly moved up the stack from assembler on weird embedded architectures to C, C++ and Python. I first came across Python a long time ago, back when it was in version 1.6 and used it to generate some lookup tables in assembly, and have been using it for all kinds of things ever since.
