I currently run the database as a service at Citus, where we turn Postgres into a horizontally scalable database. Prior to that I ran a number of product areas at Heroku including Heroku Postgres, the core languages including Python, and the API and CLI teams. I curate Postgres Weekly, and blog about databases and tech in general.
